This is a reduction linocut print that has been embellished with 22 ct gold leaf to bring out the brilliance. Each colour is printed and cut from the same plate. The colour is custom-mixed. Thin layers of ink are layered to achieve the desired intensity. Then the colour to be preserved is cut away. The process is repeated until the last colour is printed. The plate is destroyed in the process and no more prints can be taken thereafter.
The image is 20.5cm x 25.5cm.
Artwork is available unframed with a generous border, and mailed flat in a sturdy bag to prevent any damage.
It is also available framed and presented in a tan colour framed measuring 44cm x 32cm.
